Women Who Serve is an Edmonton based community group created to give adult women a welcoming, positive, and supportive space to try out tennis, build confidence, develop new skills, and connect with other women.

Our events take place at the public outdoor tennis courts that will be changing throughout the summer. Our first meet will be located at Rundle Park tennis courts in northeast Edmonton.

Absolutely! Our sessions are designed specifically for adult beginner women. So don’t worry if you’ve never played before.

No. Tennis balls are fully included and provided for use during all coaching and open play sessions.

Racquets are not included. We will have a few spares on a first-come first-serve basis if you forget your racquet at home.

SAFETY, LIABILITY & MEDIA

Tennis is a physical activity, and participation is at your own risk. By registering and attending our sessions, participants acknowledge that Women Who Serve, the coaches, and organizers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or medical incidents that may occur on or around the tennis courts. We encourage everyone to stretch, stay hydrated, and play within their comfort level.

Absolutely. We respect your privacy. If you prefer not to appear in any promotional photos or videos for our website or social media, simply let our organizers or coaches know before the session begins.

CANCELLATIONS & WEATHER

Because we play on outdoor courts, sessions may be cancelled due to rain, wet courts, or severe weather conditions.

In the event of a weather cancellation, we will notify all registered participants via email and post updates on our Instagram page as early as possible.

If you register for a session but can no longer attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to receive a credit toward a future session or a refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session start time are non-refundable.
